Global Day of Prayer 2010 - Medway E-mail

Pentecost Sunday - 23rd May - 2010

“... there is multiplied power in united prayer.”
Reinhard Bonnke, 27th April 2010

This year (2010) is the great climax to the Global Day of Prayer vision – from one city, Cape Town, South Africa in the year 2000, to one continent, Africa, in 2004, to all 220 nations of the world last year, 2009.

Peter Marchand, Chairman of Global Day of Prayer (Medway) observes:

"that here in Medway, we first joined in the growing wave of global prayer on Pentecost Sunday, in 2005.  The face of our towns has changed dramatically for the better, and I unashamedly attribute it to the heart of God responding to the cries of His people coming together across the denominations, the generations and the nations on one day at least each year to seek His face for the welfare of our towns."
