The Faith Mission of Uganda Youth Team

The Faith Mission of Uganda is an indigenous group of some 200 churches, located largely in the north eastern part of Uganda, predominantly amongst the Teso tribe, and found mainly in Soroti, Katakwi and Kumi Districts. This network of churches was started by a local man about 20 years ago, and has grown from there. They are officially registered with the Government of Uganda. These people are not polished professionals, but genuine young Christians, aged 15 to 30, with a vibrant and infectious faith which they express colourfully in their music and dance. They come together to evangelise in the more rural and remote areas, and work especially in schools and amongst young people. They have never travelled outside of Uganda before.
