Inn-roads takes the gospel onto the streets using a forty foot trailer to help communicate the hope and new life to be found in Jesus.
Great Britain and mainland Europe are currently open to the gospel. The barriers to Eastern Europe have fallen. As easily as a commercial truck can carry goods from east to west or north to south, the gospel can reach across the road networks of Europe.
Carrying all the equipment needed - power, sound and light - the vehicle becomes a stage in an open-air venue. The audience that gathers is made up of passers-by drawn to this unusual sight. They 'happen upon' the good news about Jesus. Do they wander so freely into our church buildings - Muslims, Mormons, nominal Christians, lapsed or back-slidden church goers, Buddhists, Hindus, Sikhs, New Age worshippers, Generation X-ers, agnostics, atheists? Daily they are found in the streets, market places and historic sights of Europe.
The preaching of the gospel is done in a culturally relevant way, seeking to make Jesus attractive and intelligible, and where applicable, in conjunction with local churches. Teaching, discipling, encouragement of on-going evangelism and involvement in the local church are key factors that, hand-in-hand with preaching the gospel can change the face of any neighbourhood.
